The Azerbaijan e-Visa — step-by-step guide

If your nationality requires a visa, the e-Visa is almost certainly the right option. It is applied for online, processed in 3 business days, and eliminates any need to visit an embassy. Here is the exact process:

• Go to the official portalVisit evisa.gov.az — this is the only official Azerbaijani government e-Visa website. Do not use third-party agencies or unofficial sites.
• Create an accountRegister with your email address. You will use this account to track your application and download your visa once approved.
• Fill in the application formEnter your personal details exactly as they appear in your passport. Choose your visa type: Tourist (most common), Business, or Transit. Select Single Entry (30 days, $23) or Multiple Entry (30 days, $50).
• Upload your passport photoA recent passport-style photo on a white background. The system has automated checks — use a clear, high-resolution photo to avoid rejection. Dimensions: 350×450 pixels minimum.

Required documents

The e-Visa application requires the following:
